ConvictionLog is an investment journaling platform operated by ConvictionLog, Nigeria. We build tools that help individual investors document and track their investment decisions with discipline.

The PE calculator requires no login and stores no personal data. All calculations run in your browser.
Your data is stored in a MongoDB database hosted on a secure cloud provider. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — we cannot read your password, and neither can anyone else.
Your conviction logs and reflections are private by default. Only you can see them when logged into your account. We do not display, publish, or share any user content.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data including your email, conviction logs, and reflections will be permanently removed from our systems.
Anonymous aggregate data — such as total calculator usage counts — may be retained for analytical purposes but contains no personally identifiable information.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including password hashing, JWT-based authentication, and HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. No system is completely secure, but we are committed to protecting your information.

ConvictionLog is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated via the platform or by email where appropriate.
